Legal Use Cases

Utilising our services means you confirm that you are following our legal use cases, which are considered extensions of this agreement. Any use beyond the outlined use cases is prohibited and the sole responsibility lies with the user in the event of any violations.

• Authorized Corporate/Institutional IPTV: Companies, universities, hospitals, or hotels that set up private, internal IPTV networks to broadcast licensed content, internal training, or live events to employees/guests across multiple screens.
• Licensed Content Distribution: Small to mid-sized broadcasters or VOD services that provide an M3U playlist to their paid subscribers as a flexible delivery method for legally licensed content.
• Free-to-Air (FTA) Channels: Compiling and playing official, public M3U streams from public broadcasters and independent channels that offer authorized free streams.
• Personal Media & Home Server: Users who run a personal media server (Plex, Jellyfin, Home Assistant) and stream their legally purchased or personally owned media files via an M3U playlist.
• Live Event & Conference Streaming: Organizations broadcasting live streams of conferences, meetings, or church services via a private, secure URL to authorized internal members or paying attendees.
• Testing and Development: Software developers and QA professionals using the player to test HLS/M3U8 streams for new video platforms.

Legitimate User Segments

Utilising our services means you confirm that you fall within our outlined legitimate user segments. Any use beyond these segments is prohibited and the sole responsibility lies with the user.

• IT/AV Professionals — who install and configure the player on corporate display systems, hotel TVs, or campus networks for officially licensed or internal content feeds.
• Licensed Content Distributors — small to mid-sized broadcasters providing M3U playlists to paid subscribers as a delivery mechanism for legally licensed content.
• Hospitality & Retail Businesses — using the app to manage a controlled set of channels (promotional videos, information channels, or officially licensed news) on lobby or retail screens.
• Media Enthusiasts/Technologists — seeking a customisable interface to organise authorized streaming sources, including free public streams and their own local media server content.
• Small Content Creators/Niche Broadcasters — providing an M3U playlist to paying customers as the access mechanism for their exclusive, licensed content.
• Expatriates/Global Citizens (Limited Use) — combining legal streams of their home country's public broadcasters with a legally acquired premium subscription playlist.

Acceptance of Terms

Your access to and use of OdinoTV is subject to these Terms and Conditions. The Service is not to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any way that these Terms prohibit. Acceptance of these terms is mandatory for using OdinoTV. If you do not accept these terms, you must immediately cease use of the Service.

Disclaimers & Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security, or accuracy.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, OdinoTV will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage (including without limitation loss of business, opportunity, data, or profits) arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for personal injury caused by our negligence or that of our employees or agents.

There is no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or its servers are free from harmful components.

Private Home Use

Services are provided for your private, non-commercial use in your home only. Services must not be used or viewed in public spaces, commercial establishments, or additional residential locations without appropriate authorisation. Unauthorized use may lead to service disconnection without refund.

Programming Restrictions

Certain features may be unavailable in your region due to programming or technical restrictions. OdinoTV reserves the right to alter minimum system requirements or feature availability at any time.

VPN / Proxy

The use of VPNs or proxy servers to circumvent regional restrictions or access controls is prohibited and may result in permanent account suspension.

Compatibility

Access to our services requires devices and browser/OS configurations that meet our system compatibility requirements. Users are solely responsible for their own internet connection, bandwidth, and data usage charges incurred when using the Service.

Payment & Billing

Payment information is processed securely by our certified third-party payment processor using industry-standard encryption. While we employ modern security measures, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure. We are not liable for misuse of payment information that occurs outside of our reasonable control.

You acknowledge that you have been informed of service rates and charges, which are subject to change. Payments are due immediately upon subscription, are non-refundable except as stated below, and must be honoured even if services are suspended or transferred.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day free trial before any charge is applied, allowing you to evaluate the Service. After the trial period, we do not provide refunds for issues that arise post-purchase, including device incompatibility or internet connectivity problems. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted functionality of all third-party content sources as these are outside our control.

All Sales Final

Please review your order carefully before purchase as all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless a service is not delivered as advertised or unless required by applicable consumer protection law. In the event of a dispute, please contact us at the address below.
